Job Description:
PulseLearning is seeking talented individuals with proven track records of high quality Flash and animation development.
In this role you may work from home remotely or from one of our development centres in Fredericton, NB or in Vancouver, BC. Locations outside of Canada will not be considered for these roles.

We are seeking talented individuals with proven track records of high quality Flash and animation development.
In this role you may work from home remotely or from one of our development centres in Vancouver, BC or in Fredericton, NB. Locations outside of Canada will not be considered for these roles.
 
Specific Responsibilities Include
 

• Creating 2D vector assets from photographs, videos, and/or diagrams of real life equipment
• Creating 2D vector animations from videos and/or descriptions of real life equipment
• Animating 2D vector overlays on top of 3D rendered video
• Creating non-linear animations using actionscript
• Creating scripts and storyboards based off of technical manuals and video captured of real life equipment
• Ensuring all assets meet quality standards

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing Flash based animation
• Demonstrated experience creating animation of real-world equipment and procedures
• Strong technical aptitude for 2D vector drawing
• Strong technical aptitude for animation technologies
• Creative ability to visualize and translate complex 3D motion into 2D representations
• Basic to intermediate Actionscript knowledge
• Experience developing with Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
• Desirable to have HTML, Java scripting and 3D modelling/animation development experience
• Experience in the eLearning, aerospace, and/or military sectors would be advantageous
• Ability to pass an enhanced security screening
• Excellent spoken and written skills
• Ability to establish and maintain strong team relationships working with a virtual team
